The Deal with Crovax

Crovax Post

Ascendent Evincar and his Planar Chaos opposite Crovax Ascendent Hero. Both give +1/+1 bonus to the other creatures of their color and both give a -1/-1 reduction to other creatures that are not their color. So out of curiousity what happens when they are both in play and you have a multicolor (black/white) Angel of Despair in play. Does the Angel get both bonuses, both reductions, or stay exactly the same. I can see that a white or black creature would stay the same with both Ascendents in play because they get a bonus and a reduction from the Ascendents but what about a multicolor creature? 1. Angel of Despair is both a black and a white creature at the same time…there for it gets the +1/+1 from both with no reduction.

  2. I would have to agree with Derrick. Both Ascendent Evincar and Crovax, Ascendent Hero say NON(whatever color) creature gets -1/-1 since the angel is both White and Black at the same time it counts as being the color in question and the -1/-1 effect would not apply. So the angel would be a 7/7
